Snack Shack Volunteer Needed
I want to start this post by saying THANK YOU to Grace Petroka for serving as the league’s Snack Shack Leader for the past two seasons. Regretfully, however, Grace is stepping down this season as Snack Shack Lead. Understandably – Grace performs an enormous amount of tasks in support of the Board and the League!
Therefore, we are hoping a parent in our Little League community would like to officially nominate themselves as Snack Shack Lead. Grace was responsible for ensuring the snack shack was open for business on game day’s, closed and secure for the night, responsible for balancing cash, and most importantly, inventory. The Snack Shack Lead will also be responsible for coordinating any help (behind the counter, running the grill, etc.) necessary for running the snack shack during home games. Team mom’s are responsible for assisting in the snack shack, so coordinating the help should be fairly easy.
