The New Britain Rock Cat’s mascot, Rocky, will be attending the Deep River Little League Opening Day ceremonies on April 24th at 9am. Rocky will arrive at 9:45am, and will greet our Little Leaguer’s with “high fives” as they run through the reception line. Rocky will be available for autographs and pictures, time permitting. DO NOT MISS OPENING DAY – this is an exciting development for our league so don’t miss it!

Also on Opening Day, Sportography will be conducting player and team pictures. More details to follow, but have your player prepared for pictures on Opening Day.

Since 1995, when the Rock Cats took over Bee Hive field as the Minnesota Twins affiliate (from the cruddy Red Sox!), Rocky has witnessed such star players as Todd Walker, Joe Mauer, Justin Morneau, David Ortiz, Tori Hunter, Doug Mientkiewicz, AJ Pierzynski, Michael Cuddyer, Corey Koskie, and Francisco Liriano, among other visiting current and former big league stars.

Please give Rocky a warm welcome on opening day!
